Keep him separate, keep him quiet and see what his injuries are. I would also offer vitamins and electrolytes. Poor baby!! Keep us posted!

ok i figured out how it got in the other run it squeezed threw a hole that was made from the bigger ones dust bathing nest to the wall both runs share a wall i took him or her out and it was so weak looking and i placed it in a little kennel by its self next to my house but still here the other chickens and now it looks like she or he has ran off it is no where to be found. i wonder if it found its self a better hidding place. with it being weak i did not think it would get out until my husband can get home and get the brooder back out for her or him. the dog crate has nice sized holes on the little door on it. guess she or he is not that bad off if it squeezed threw the holes and got out again i had it up off the ground it had food and water i was not bringing it in my house to get my daughter up set. she is so attached to every last chicken we have. i had it out of the rain and covered up. wonder is this little chicke a fighter and determined to live. it will come inside in the brooder one my husband comes home if i can fond it in 30 to an hr of placing it in the crate it dissapeared husband is going to think i am crazy and seeing things but it was hurt and weak and now no where to be found. i am not having a good day at all

Yes, you can use pedialyte! You can also buy vitamins & electrolytes at any feed store. It is usually a powder form and you just mix with water. But yes the pedialyte is fine to use if you can't get to the feed store.
