My whites are almost 2 months old but theres a possiblity of blue, black, splash, showgirls, and paints. im wondering what hen will be the mom i have 2 broody hens laying on the eggs at the same time i tried moving one but shed just leave the eggs and go back so i gave up. i have 13 eggs about 6 should hatch today and tomarrow and then i have 7 due next week.

well we finally got most of the mud off of her there is still some on her until she drys and is not tramatized as much we will get the rest off the only injurys that we can see is all the feathers have bee taken of of its hear and it caused some breakage in the skin. She is shanking but alive. she wobbles a little to move but does not stand yet i fugured it will take a few days before she will be up on her feet. i will keep you updated on its progress. will its head feathers grow back once it is healed also what can i put on its woulds. and also how long should i give it before deciding that it is to tramatized to survive. all it does is lay there and shake. i was planning on getting rid of the LF and just have silkies and now i believe the time is come to re home my LF chickens. also off the subject does anyone eat the silkie eggs or just hatch them

Put the Pedialyte in the water and while its separated give it a light for warmth. Its in shock and needs all the support you can give it to pull it back.

She is most likely in shock right now. Make sure she is in a quiet, dark place so she can rest. Give her some time to see if she will come around. Give her any food/treats that she will eat and she might not eat today but try to encourage her for sure tomorrow. Is she taking water for you now? You can put antibiotic ointment on her if you have that. Just make sure it does not have the pain reliever added to it. As long as her wounds aren't too severe and she didn't suffer brain damage, she should pull through this!! Her feathers should grow back but it might take awhile. Give her some TLC and I am hoping she will pull through!!!
Yes, we do eat the silkie eggs here. They are smaller but just as good!
