ya know Sandy of Bat Cave will be at Morganton Show the last weekend of this month, and she'll be bringing a good few sell birds. If you want nice birds, you should definately think of getting from her in person at the show, you can talk with her, see the birds, touch the birds, and know what your getting for your money, also no stress of shipping and worrying how hot or cold they'll be or if they'll make it in one piece, etc.

there is also a show in Winston Salem the weekend after Thanksgiving, don't know who all is going to that one, but there are quite a few silkie folk here in NC

Yeah, she told me that in a private message, but it's a 5 hour drive for me. I live along the coast (near SC).
 
Yes I would 1000000% recommend Bat Cave First She (I think) Has the nicest birds around! You could PM her about some and she can bring them to morgonton for you to look at, she is super nice and does not put a sale before a customer. She will tell her honest opinion on every bird she has and which one (if she was buying) she would get.
