I did not know that they all had smut. I think you once suggested I cross my buff with my redish partridge's. I will be posting them soon. What colors will I get from that cross? Thanks for the encouragement on the blues. The darkest one, Lava, was the one born chipmonk so I still don't really know what color it is.
 
Went to the Little Rhody Poultry Show today. I sold my last two buff cockerals. My daughter showed her splash pullet and won Reserve Champion Featherleg and her buff pullet won BV. She also came in third place in her division for showmanship and today was the first time she's ever done showmanship.

if i was rember right on partrdge chicks was very buff in color u take that chick breed it to buff chick and cull the very mutty one and keep ones with very lil smutt
