Silkie thread!

OMGoodness! I am so happy I have to share! ALL of my chickens have FINALLY learned to go inside their coop at dark!!! YAY! (Not that I have to worry about them since their run is a huge 15x15 & completely covered...)

Ok now here are a few questions for those of you who are NPIP certified & show your silkies.
1) What are some things/hint I should know to be able to start getting ready to contact NPIP to get certified myself? (i.e: Do they all have to go inside at night, bathing them, etc...)
2) What treats do you all give your silkies? I just wanna know what else I can give my babies besides feed & sunflower seeds...
3) How often should I bath my beauties?

Thank you all in advance!

Is it ok if they are in their run/runs? I have a 15x15 & 4x15 runs attached to their coop & I am currently trying to convert the 4x15 into the breeder/brooder "dog house coop in run" to make sure my silkie colors breed well... & thank you.

i washed mine in warm water too!

It is weird for a silkie he to just sit there and not get freaked out with the first bath?

My first hen she just sat in the water and did nothing. is it cause she trusts me ?

i have to hold my silkies head up cause she falls asleep. first time i gave her a bath she fell asleep and her head went under water i wasnt expecting that

LOLS!
That sounds so horrible

I can do that. Where's the best place to order bands? Or however you get them? (I am new to this & I want everything to be perfect for my son to be able to start showing them next year...) Thank you for answering my questions!!
