Silkie thread!

Maybe you could get another pullet so she has a friend. Sounds like she left a cheap motel and came to your Hotel Ritz. Lucky girl, maybe she should be Cinderella. Since her feet were like that she may have been neglected in other areas too. You might want to worm her and treat for mites. It's good that she has her own space because it's best to quarantine for about 30 days, to make sure she doesn't bring anything to your flock.

So here is my splash babies that hatched from broody

Well we have been out in the yard all weekend and the chicks are really enjoying their outdoor pen even though they go back in the brooder at night and my silver white chick is a boy!

I know this as I can now start to see his little comb and he jumps around and chest bumps everyone!lol

I take notes on all kinds of color genetics. Here is a note I copied from a breeder on here but failed to add the name so I don't remember who it was...

"Breeding buff x lav does not make porcelain. That first generation, you will
get birds that appear buff x black and will carry a single copy of the lav gene.
Breeding back to the lav parent will produce 50% smutty buff split lavs, 50%
buff with lav, also known as isabel, not porcelain (although many mistakenly
call this porcelain). True porcelain is made up of columbian, buff, mottled,
and lavender, not just buff and lav. Lav x isabel will throw birds similar in
appearance to the isabel parent, but with more lav visible. Breeding isabel
to black will produce smutty buffs carrying lav."
