You can try showing him/her but the off color will definitely be points off if not a DQ. No, its' not ok, unfortunately. It's always so sad when a great quality bird has leakage.

I think they are talking comb & skin colour, not leakage. Assuming that is correct, we really need to see it to determine whether it falls within the acceptible range or not. Red is definitely out, but what one judge thinks is too light a mulberry another will find okay. The darker the better, but many quite good birds do not have black combs.

Here is Snow - was Snow White since me and the breeder swore it was a girl....no such luck it seems Snow White is now the Snow Prince, starting to get a bumped out comb and the crest is full of pin feathers, but I'm thinking its streamers not just a crest filling in

I know this is a little out of question but what is the diffrence between partridge silkies and red silkies cause i have one or the other and want to get some of the other coulor in the spring if needed i could post pics of the ones i have there about 4 months old

That is not a blue roo. Looks sort of like a splash.

ETA: If you are planning to get into breeding, you should spend as much as you can and get the best quality as you can afford to start out with. Research breeders and purchase from a reputable one.

I do breed blue, black, and splash silkies. At this time, I do not have any for sale. However, I expect to be selling in the spring.
