blue and gray breeding

The one with blue is a Blue Silver Partridge.
I started from Silver Partridge "eb/eb S/-" and crossed with Blue unicolor "E/E Bl/bl+" (which I changed first from based on gold to based on Silver).
After 2 generations I could become the Blue Silver Partridges "eb/eb S/- Bl/bl+".

"Silver Quail" Is that the same as Silver Partridge?

Similar but not genetically equal.
A Silver Partridge in Silkies should be "eb/eb S/S * S/-"
A Silver Quail should be "eb/eb S/S * S/- Co/Co Ml/Ml" . The "Co" (= Columbia) make in this case the cheast almost white (without black-pigment), the "Ml" (Melanotic) intensifie the black-pigment.
She is still very young and have not yet changed feathers.

Going on looks alone...the genetics code is WAY over my head..

She's beautiful! Haven't seen any silver silkies around my area! There are a lot of blues, whites and partridge. Even some blacks.

She is very pretty

Also here in Europe the most breed the gold variants (maybe because Silkies are originally based on gold) than they are "isabel" I think you call it "porcelain"
For some reason I am a silver fan, but this make it only double difficult to get them "pure" Silver and without the autosomal red !

It is only a way to explain in technical way the working of the colorations.

So in normal words she is as a Silverpartridge but with a light colored chest and the black parts more intensive.

quit a few miles, they came from Tennessee which i think is 3 states away(could be off)
