Silkie thread!

Seen with EU eyes this pattern is too regular for a Splash. It looks more as a Columbian but not on a ground-color of "eb/eb" (Asiatic-partridge) what is common in EU but on a ground-color of "eWh/eWh" (wheaten) what is more common in US (I was told so)
In EU the Blue and Splash have as ground-color (e-allel) "E/E" which give when double diluted with "Bl/Bl" an irregular pattern of black/blueish patches as this one :

A Columbian Silver Partridge in EU on groundcolor "eb/eb" look like this one :

Sooooo cute!

They really do not look splash to me--I see a somewhat brownish colouring (of course that could be the camera or lighting). What are the possibilities from the parents?

Namasteenamama, Please send me some pics of the faces....I'm thinking you have a white in that buff colored one. Many of our babies look buff in the beginning..... But those final feathers hatch out white
and in the ones on top, I need to see the face, you may have partridge or blue ..... but I also want to see the face as that will help. What was the marking on the eggs that hatched.........Thanks and thanks for being sooo considerate...Yes, I'm out of hospital but on some really heavy drugg meds so I'm not 100%..... thanks

This cockerel came from a splash/blue pen. Do you think he's blue or splash? Lots of mottled color in tail and wings. The breeder wasn't sure about the color so you guys get to help me.

Blue go from dark Blue to light Blue, is why this coloration (Bl/bl+) is called an intermediar coloration.
Also common is that the upperside is darker than the underside (more with males than with females).
