What day are they on now?? Good luck and I hope they all hatch!!!

I think I'm resigned to doing the AI, I still haven't done it. This last batch of eggs in my incubator are clear, I believe. They are on Day15, and I see nada.

Ah well. Wish me luck! LOL Hey... can you take pictures of your candling??? I would love to see what they look like. I know that's not an easy task, so don't worry about it if you can't. My only hope left are the Rosecombs I have in there now--- going to cross my fingers SOMEthing is developing. I'm not going to candle until they are a few days older-- they are teeny tiny and I don't want to handle them too much.
I have three hatch days for my eggs. 3/24, 3/28 and 4/8. I have Catdance eggs hatching on the 16th! Can not wait!! Here's the candling sight I use. Good photos. https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...g-candling-pics-progression-though-incubation My camera would never do this well. How do you focus in the dark? My yolks are dark and on day three they just look a lot bigger. That's all I can really see. But the other pictures on this chart follow pretty closely. My roo is 10 mths. and I just heard him crow for the first time yesterday. I'm thinking he is just now really maturing.

looks like a nice crest and wings.... but the picture is blurry and hard to see anything else. Can you bring her in and set her on something and get a picture of her from the front and side and show her feet? You'll get a LOT more comments then. I think people just don't know what to say since they can't really see her.

Yes, I can do that in the next day or two. I think this pullet is the only one I have that'd be anywhere near worth taking to a show. The others are just pets. This little girl I got in hopes of having one nice enough to show. It will be my first attempt!

First I think I better go and watch a couple of shows so I'll know what to expect.

Sanna, there's a show in Sparta, NJ on May 19, the Sussex County Poultry fanciers.
Alot of us peeps will be there if you want to go. It's a great show, and one of the closest ones to you, depending on where you are.

Okay, I candled an egg just now. These are the silkie eggs that are on Day13. They all pretty much look like this one. Ah well.

Here are the 5 blue silkie chicks I ordered, 3 of them are blue and 2 look white one of them has little blue grey patches, so what did i get? will they all be blue? How do I correct the little chicks foot in the middle front?

The ones with the patches will probably be splash,

They are beautiful. Just check the toes on one, it's probably just the way he is standing, top picture, the white one.
if the toes are curled like that, you'll need to tape them up.
