I don't have any good new pictures of the silkie chicks, so I tried to get a couple quickies to share.

Here's some of the gang, while I pass out bread. A few of the silkie chicks are with their "mom," the white hen.

Here is my Nugget at 10 weeks. I still need to clip the feathers around the eyes. Hubby has been busy fixing his BMW so I haven't wanted to bug him to help. There is also a video link of Nugget making funny noises. Just wonder if all Roos and Pullets make that noise? Nugget makes that noise a LOT! (Video link -

) Also is Nugget bearded? I think he/she is but not sure.

She was hatched out last year from my backyard mix. She could likely be part Serama, but I'm not sure who her parents are. All my chickens are small bantams, like Old English, Dutch, and Serama.

I think My Pet Chicken sells sexed Silkies, check them out also....
