Silkie thread!

Its called wry tail. Also if her back is hunched or her hips are displaced (one higher one lower) it could be scoliosis or roachback as well....Wry Tail is a Disqualification and a heriditary trait so it will pass on to a good number of her offspring. With wrytail that severe I would not breed her personally :(
Will she live a somewhat normal life??? I don't want her in pain, and I won't breed her just a pet

Usually its not a problem, just a displacement of the tail end of the spine. Just keep an eye on her if shes still growing and as long as she eats, drinks, acts normal and keeps weight on she should be just fine.
When two of my chicks had Wry Neck they said it was caused by a vitamin deficiency. I gave them poly-vi-sol, Selinium, and E in their food and they got over it. Would the same vitamins help her chick?

I'm going to try that just in case!!!!! I don't think it would harm her??? Would it

Sorry to bug you again with my questions but I haven't had any response yet, so I try again:
I am on the process of building a coop for my silkies and was wondering if you use any roost, pooping board, nesting boards, etc.... If any of you have any pictures of the inside, I will REALLY appreciate it. Thanks

I do not have roosts in my Silkie coop. They seem to prefer sleeping in a fluffy pile. But I have one that I can put in later and see if they change their little minds. But most on here seem to also find that silkies like to sleep on the floor.

I am not sure about nesting boxes. So far the egg pictures I have seen recently are on the ground in the coop or run.
