Thanks - I only have the one pullet left - someone came to purchase other bantams from me and fell in love with her chick - they wanted her for a pet so I let her go. She was too diluted to show as the roo was white. They love her - named her Penelope and she is spoiled.

I've had a terrible day!!!

One of Catdance Kelar eggs fell out of the nest and broke open and of all ten eggs it was one that actually had a living breathing growing chick in it

I am beside myself I can't believe how sad I am. It only had 10 more days to go. I just am speechless to how I'm feeling right now. Here is to what would have been...

WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pretty birds!!!!

Quote: We lost a black chick at hatch, probably because we opened the bator too early and my son didn't realize that it had pipped. He saw it and immediatly put the lid back on, but it then quit and died a few hours later. Our only black chick out of all the splash we got. So bummed! My son felt bad, but it was our first time hatching and I was at work, he just didn't see it. I could have made the same mistake. But it's still hard. Sorry about your loss!
