That first picture is really weird. The angle the rooster is at makes him look like he has no body.

How do you get 1/3?

The breeder had a black half silkie half polish hen in with her white silkie flock.the only roosters were silkies. So this baby from her is 1/3, right? I'm not great with fractions lol

I had had chickens all my life, 60+ years, but when I got my first silkies I found myself watching them all the time and realized all my stress was draining away. That's when I discovered how special they were. Does any one else use their silkie pen to pray.   So peaceful!

Being in the coop with the chickens is the most therapeutic escape. Calm, peaceful and zen-like. I havent prayed in the coop, but caring for the chickens becomes a "moving meditation" of sorts.
