My silkies skip when they run

Mine do too....they look like dough-dough birds running in all directions at once ducking their heads and acting foolish. I could watch them and laff all day lone

Any thoughts on what color this little chick might be? He looks to have a little black coming in on the wings.

Could be a mixed colouring chick. Hard to say unless you know where it came from. They change a lot in colour from this age to full grown.

Does anyone raise mottled silkies they could share photos of? I'm starting a mottled cochin flock and thought I could perhaps work the mottled gene into the silkies if I have some patience.

I don't raise mottled silkies, but that would be cool! I have mottled Houdans
