Will a boy still try to mount another one when they first reach maturity or do they know the difference. I ask this because my male colombian was trying to mount the one that I hope is a girl but could still be a boy. I don't know what to do if I have another boy other than rehome him, I already have 4 out of 13 total.
Earthquake? well im glad all is well!Wow we just had an earthquake! I guess the chicks new what was coming because they refused to leave their coop this afternoon to free range!
Such cutie patooties you have there!!Some of my first bearded Silkies White, blue, and dark blue pullets are 5 months old. Splash is 6 months old. Blue cockerel is 4.5 months old. Showgirl is 5 months old. I'm wanting to get into showing one day. I hope at least on grows show quality. My splashes have long backs, and the female has hard feathers in her tail. The others came from a lady that raises/shows Shogirls, and keeps Silkies for the Showgirls. Pam
Sorry! Photo overload!
