Whether or not they are split to lav depends on how they were bred. Visually there is no way to tell whether they are or are not. If one parent was full lavender, they will be split. If parents were split, no way to tell without DNA analysis or if they produce lavender offspring when bred to a lavender.

I live in New england so it will be COLD and I only have the two that live outside. Yesterday I went out to find them looking like chick-sicles, with frost on their crests and backs I was like oh I hope that's not bad! They are fine and waiting for their morning food right now lol. But seriously they looked like jack frost's pets hehe.

i lve where get cold too i feed grower all year roundSo would just the grower food be okay to feed them over the winter? Also, I know you say you never feed scratch, but you live in Arizona, where I am up here we can get up to 4 ft of snow at a time and it sometimes gets to -20F when it's a really bad winter which it is supposed to be this year.
