Silkie thread!

I suppose it depends on how many silkies you have in the house. If it was 300 that could be a problem

Oh. OK. Where I get most of my silkies she has a big cow barn and some really nice pens and about 6 inches of shavings and a lot of sunshine. Really nice set up. Thats Amy Phiel she is on here sometimes. I really like her setup.

Sorry I just stepped away from the computer and then went outside and was rounding up some wayward chickens. Took longer than I thought. destiny_56085 has a lot of photbucket pictures~ I am looking at them now Their in the loft album

I could still be wrong but the skin where the wattles would grow is mulberry color, same with my other splash chick. All the other chicks still have black skin there. His comb is also much bigger than the rest. His body shape even looks like he's a small rooster. I see him bossing some of the other chicks around acting all manly... But, I could be wrong. They're still fairly young.
I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a boy with this one!

Maybe I should take some close ups of his face.

I never see red on the girls at 10 wks. but I do have a couple of splash girls with red wattles and dark comb. Can say when the red showed up. I usually see my girls showing "S" type stance earlier than the boys. I thought the Catdance girl in my avatar was a boy till 4 months.

Ok, so is this one a boy? I'm thinking yes.

With feet and wings like that, would he be worthy of breeding? He's only 10 weeks old, should I wait and see?

Either way, he's a cutie pie.

i agree about the toes if this is boy i wouldnt keep it becauseof the toes

Girl or boy? They are about 13 weeks. I don't have comb pics. Didn't have any help moving their crests. The porcelain has a small comb, and the white medium compared to the others.

top is a girl and bottom could be a boy. I say this because the bottom one appears to be having a few spikes but could just be new feathers coming in.
