Good for you and me who didn't let myself get tempted. Even though my incubator has been empty for 4 weeks and I bought a brinsea that I haven't used.

The best thing about pumpkins are the guts, you know  That was my favorite part of carving pumpkins growing up. Now I just think of all the wasted chicken food!

Also, to keep stiring that pot you have going -- "Pictures or it didn't happen!" ;)

Pumpkins are good for a worm preventive, I plan on drying them out and fermenting them in their feed.

I would but I still want to hold out for Blacks and have a pm out for some Wheaten eggs, after it took me 30 mins trying to figure out who I got them from before. Kim when your Black pen is together l will be first in line for those

I'd like in on this too please. I've got other silkied color projects coming up these would be great for that don't necessarily benefit from having choc orp genes in there, lav silkied ams in particular....

Helpful but not quite such a big deal for the choc/mauve, isabel lavs I've got going or crele and jubilee flavors I'm setting up for..........

Some of my black Silkied Ameraucana when they were younger.

I can't wait they are gorgeous. My black pullet looks like that also. I think I will use the splash with the girls. Then I can get all three right

9 more days til batch in the bator starts hatching and I can reload.
Set up a rarebreed auction to end Sunday to see what happens.
Maybe time to send out one more mini...... more pot stirring!
Be a bit before that all black silkied pen good to go....
Luv to have some of those myself while KatCai has that pen set up.

Is this where I admit it's October and I still have my incubators running (regular incubation, lockdown incubator, and dry off incubator)? With the red splits I'm at full capacity + 2 - so two eggs must be hand turned now. When these guys hatch I'm either going to have to move the brooder box into the basement, make a new one so I don't have lug the other one inside, or resign myself to a winter of parking outside. Brrrr.
