It first I thought he was blue wheaten or lemon blue, but after going outside after it rained the other day and I noticed he's mottled or splashed. I think in a silkie it's called porcelain. Is this what color I should call him?
My silkied hen is barred/cuckoo, if I breed them, they would be sexlinks, right? What color would the chicks be?

Can't help with the color, but the chicks will be interesting. Do I detect scaley leg mites on the rooster?

The male chicks will have a white spot on the top of their head, the females wont.

They both had some serious leg mites when I got them, almost back to normal. It looks like they had them for a while before I got them.

The hay string I was using as a "chicken leash".

Been gone all day and came home, went out the collect eggs, and noticed my fuzzies in the nest (old litter bucket), so I went to shoo them out and, i see an egg!!!!!!!!!!! It is brown and pointy. Just set 21 egg in the bator yesterday afternoon, sooo i popped it in there along with 6 eggs from a friend. Hope it hatches:fl

The roo isn't a recognized color. It looks like they are some kind of bantam game cross. Maybe with some Serama in them at some point. Do they have 4 or 5 toes?
