Silkies, 15 weeks

I noticed my silkies, at 15 weeks now I think, are beginning to have different hairstyles. Either bouffant, or a spike 'do. Does either really mean male or female. None are crowing yet. Other than that they all look the same to me. One in particular struts more upright than the others but that's about it.

well rounded crests with even length feathers usually indicated female. Spikey crests with uneven length feathers usually means male. Still in developing birds this can be difficult to gage.
