Silkies and buff orphington losing feathers in odd spots, not sure if it’s normal

Their feathers are coming back in! I’ve been adding starter feed in their regular layer feed and giving them scrambled eggs and ground beef occasionally as treats

Glad I found this post! I have one girl who is losing feathers and having a hard time re-growing. She is part Silkie. She is losing them on her wings and head. I'm wondering now if it could be a protein issue?
