Silkies Of A Different Color

Looks like a blue partridge to me. He could also win best non standard variety--at least in the silkie group.

Any ideas on what colour this silkie rooster is??

Looks to me like a splash. I'm not totally sure though. He's very handsome!:love

Thank you!

He has no blue on him though, violet colour in his tail and a very light beige throughout his body!

Oh! Oh! Is my boy the first or the second one or both? Wow, so nice to see them!

Here are pictures of my project birds, just taken today.

Brody, your females I would guess if they are salmon should look similar to my wheaten pullet. Mine are probably about 5 months old now. Not sure why the silver wheaten is non bearded though, all parents are bbearded.

that silver is fabulous

I was wondering. Has any of you bred a Silver Penciled Silkie? I have gotten some Silver Penciled Bantam Wyandottes. I would like a couple of Silkies for broody hens. So if I want to try some project colors what would be the best color to get some Silkie girls in?
