Brody's Pearl rooster is actually a silver gened white, a true Pearl color, as seen and noted in birds in other countries are called lavenders in some areas, they are quite a bit darker even grey color .
Correct it is a Silver gened bird, that after a few generations of breeding will become alot darker. I have a friend who actually has a few. The first gen is only partly smokey, as this bird is. But there are a few breeders who are working on this color. I didn't name it, just was corrected by those that are really pursueing it that that iwhat they are calling it, at least until the governing bodies decide they have to call it something else.LOL
