I would call him FABULOUS!!!!! I love the unique coloration on him. Keep posting photos of him for 'eye candy' and I'll keep longing for one just like him!

Thank you featherbaby. I can't wait for him to start breeding, I'll be sure and post pics of his offspring. I am going to hatch a few from his pen, but this year I am going to concentrate more on the Paint Silkies. College keeps me swamped, so I don't have time to keep up with a ton of babies. I think I'll sell hatching eggs this year, I threw a ton away last year.
Vanessa, I just searched tortoiseshell, and pulled up one of your auctions
, and that boy is gorgeous!! He looks more like your guy, than any others I have seen. Did you sell him?
yes I did...
He has a good home. I miss him though, beauty, brains, personality and an excellent breeder. He came from MBRobbins eggs, was in with my blacks and blues and I needed to put my new blue boy in there. Didn't want him to live in a cage.
I looked in the breeds section here on BYC and that's where I found "tortoiseshell" Grey with autosmal red.

Your roo is beautiful. I love that color...
I wasn't much on the different colors until I hatch a blue partridge and then I got him, and I love unusual colors the best now. Have you gotten to see any or your guys offspring yet? I bet they are gorgeous.

I'm pretty happy with them...
Her foot feathering could be better, there's some younger ones that have better foot feathering. Everything else looks pretty good
The chick in the first pic is definately "a silkie of a different color" he/she is going to be pretty.
