Most folks would agree that a bird needs to be at least 6 months to show. And that is for birds who develop on a normal timeline. For slow to mature breeds even later--8 to ten months or more.

Isa is an isabel or a porcelain; depends on who you ask. She Is mostly the isabel (lavender diluted buff), but does shw a bit of lavender on her head and undercoat.
 
Oh I have never seen that color? I've seen porcelin but not isabel. Whats the difference between them? How many colors do you have? Like a #?
 
So it is more common to get a light blue versus a dark blue? Which one will place higher if they are exactly the same except ones a lighter blue and ones a darker blue? Can somone anyone post a picture of a black silkie baby so that I can see the difference between a black, blue, and splash. Thanks
