She still lays like she is spring chicken, haha. She is a sweet girl. There are just some that you can never get rid of, no matter how hard you try. I have 3 of those. One is about 3.5-4 years old, she looks like she is 90

no longer lays, and if she does it's a soft shelled egg and the little toot eats it. If a chicken comes to me for attention, then they have a forever home.

maybe Lyle sounds a bit like lilly and he may get used to it quicker! But I quite agree with keeping it lilly (after all johny cash sang about a boy named Sue)

I was sooo close of getting a black silkie but they were straight run so i couldn't get any...

Should I just get a pullet black silkie??
