Silkies, Showgirls, & Seramas - 12 weeks old

I'd say blue is definitely roo and partridge is definitely female. As for the rest, I'm not sure.

I still have 4 silkies that hatched in March, 2 of which I'm still not sure on gender hopefully some of the people tagged have answers!

I understand! Last fall we bought 3 Silkie day old chicks and all 3 were boys, but the last one didn’t crow until six months old & was submissive so I was holding out hope for him to be a her, but nope.

Last spring we ordered one white day old Silkie chick, but it died after arrival (shipped from hatchery with our other layer chicks). It was the only chick my daughter wanted and the only one that died. (Thus the need for more fall chicks, but since they were all boys & became aggressive to my kindergartner, we culled them.) So this is round three of trying to get a female Silkie. We are planning on trying to keep a friendly rooster again too.

Yes, it does. The lady that I got the fertile eggs from said some of her frizzled birds do have feathered legs possibly from whatever line introduced the frizzled gene. ‍♀

The frizzled serama is actually a serama mix due to the crest and feathered legs.
