So i have 7 little white silkie eggs in bator that went in on the 17th that will go into the hatchery bator tomorrow. So I need advice had a real bad hatch last time of sex link eggs. So what do yall find is the best humidity for silkie eggs for hatching ??? The bator they are in now it is 50% humidity. I do not want to drown them when i move them over. Any advice would be great

I'm no expert... from what I understand they hatch just like other eggs. I have 36 silkie eggs in my bator right now and I intend to hatch them as I have other breeds. I think 50-60% is what to shoot for on day 18-21 from what I have read and done. so far, so good for me.
Good luck with your hatch.

professional poultry companies keep their eggs at 89.6 humidity but they are forced air and contain hundreds maybe thousands of eggs in each one. so my conclusion is that....i don't know:/

I decided to let the mother hen do all the work and so far I have gotten 100% hatch on the eggs I put under them

When it comes to incubators I would say to go with the regular 45 % humidity days 1-18 and 70 % during the last three days.
