What colour will I possibly get from my splash hen and Popcorn the orange boy? My rooster doesn't go after this young hen so I know her eggs are fertile so just checking what possible chicks I can expect from the 2? Splash with red leakage? Any possible patridge orange type colours?

He's an old man now at almost 7. He is good for teaching younger boys to be nice to the girls. My white rooster in the next pen is his favorite buddy if let them out to range the courtyard together. They will end up in the same pen to sleep and I have to separate them after dark. They can see each other through the fence.

Should be blue with leakage. Splash is genetically black with 2 copies of the semi-dominant blue modifier. All offspring from a splash will have 1 copy so be blue.

Yall there was a little bit of blood on my hand this morning n I thought it was mine cuz Joey got me as usual...but I just went again and I had put him in the coop and when I let him out I saw Coco pecking at hemp.l bedding that had a little blood on it...so I started checking and it is Joey...the end of his toenail and feather are gone its so cold here it was clotting but why is he havin these problems?!
He is getting to do the "roo" thang wirh Daisy now...but this is his other foot from where he had lost a toenail before.
Any thoughts?

Should be blue with leakage. Splash is genetically black with 2 copies of the semi-dominant blue modifier. All offspring from a splash will have 1 copy so be blue.

Thanks! ... What colours do I need to make something like your patridge rooster? He's a little bit like my old rooster (that's gone) and I'd love to recreate that sortof colouring.

Could it be from fighting at all? Or a vitamin deficiency of some sort? Strange sorry I can't be much help

I have observed that chickens do have sections of not necessarily teeth but its called the lateral palatine ridge on the top of their mouths. But gheeze! I don't think that would be able to get to your skin! One time I picked up one of my roosters and he bite me to where his beak closed on top of my lip! It felt swollen after but I don't think I've ever seen a chicken bite like you have!

It's just been a really rough week...
I hate when Joey does this
..he bit me 3 times on the one arm today drawim blood then flogged my legs and I had jeans and boots on since it is freezing cold here and he even got blood on my leg...just didn't know it til now.
I luv that ole turd but he is one BOOTYHEAD!
