Sad as is I had decided I could not have a cockerel silkie I do not want my silkie to hatch more silkie only full size birds one customer wanted banty eggs to pickle so 4 silkie came here but had to have 2 room coop fort knox so cat's we have 3 outside would love to eat them not mean enough to back down the cats so found a tractor free then added to it be be cat proof
 
I just can't imagine eating something that looks like a poodle! I don't think I could deal with an evil silkie.
When it comes to a silkie who isn't nice, you gotta look past the cuteness, in order to eat one.
I only eat the mean ones.

But you don't eat the feathers, and they have powerful medicinal qualities stored in those black bones. They taste very good too with Rosemary and lemon pepper. :drool

It has been proven, silkie meat does have anti-aging properties recently.
