Thank you! They were shipped and got so delayed Hopefully we’ll have better luck with some local eggies when everyone starts laying again!

my 5 silkie hens and 8 pullets have been moved to the new coop! fingers crossed they stay safe at night. I am talking rats. at the moment no sign of them (ate baits and died) but next week cold will be back so I must be watching for rats.

Oh no I feel you there, shipped eggs are tough enough without being delayed!

I hope you get a great hatch from the local eggs when the girls pick up laying.

How are the little guys @Gammas Bearded Babies? Has the little one with the bad leg shown improvement or at least no declines?

I know this is the Silkie thread but I am super excited that my Tolbunt Polish eggs started hatching today! One has even externally pipped! I can’t wait to see them! I’m feeling really nervous about giving any of the babies to my silkies. When is a good time and how many should I give them? They’ve been so dedicated I feel like they need some rewards for it. I would just hate risking losing them if something went wrong
