A couple hot hands packets wrapped in a towel are a good backup. I use those when transporting new chicks.

So what would a buff or red look like as a chick!?
I'm getting excited thinkin the very first one might be the color I'm wanting!!!
As it dries and fluffy up there is like a red/pink hue to its wings!

Congrats!
Too early to tell color. Could be white.
Recessive white can be cream, yellow, buff, white or even grey as chicks.

If you have any of those old fashioned red hot water bottles, fill them and have them ready if the power goes out.

All 6 shipped eggs hatched!
I haven't yet got a pic of all 6 at once but here's a couple...they all look light coloured?- no partridge? Any ideas of what colours?
..one little light one has a chipmunk stripe though!

Gorgeous birds! The white one with the gray head I’ve never seen before!
Your chicks all look a bit lighter than the ones in the ad.
The chipmunk striped one may end up looking like the bird in the first photo. It’s amazing how much they change when they feather out!
Will be exciting to see how these little ones end up!

I just said that same thing out loud when I saw her! A gray head on a white body! I’ve never seen it but I LOVE it!!
