Oh this is too funny I hate i didn't get it on video!
Joey (big satin) standing beside lil Gracie (silkie baby) and she didn't know and when she looked up she jumped and did her lil wings out!!!
So far so good they are getting along rather well...but only supervises visits for now!

There are like 3 or 4 black ones that have the same kinda "mottling" but in cream color and their primary color is black...
Pretty cool since mottled is the way I think I wanna go lol

Jackie Chan kills me! He literally went up to Joey the one in that pic above and tried to bow up on him! He is worse than a teenager I'm telling you!
He's gonna be rough once hormones kick in!
Lol Joey just looked at him like
" son....I tell ya that's not a good idea!"
But he kept his cool!!! Proud chicken mamaa!

Oh they are so neat too! I could see them possibly being mottled, split to mottled, or they could be pure black. My guess is splits or lightly marked mottled though.

Do any of you have experience with keeping a Silkie rooster with full size hens like Red Rock? I have a mature experienced rooster that will be put with 3 Red Rock hens when the hens are about 4 months old or as big as the rooster. Right now the hens live in a run next to the roosters run. I haven't seen the rooster or the hens showing any interest in each other.
