If you have the space, and are able to deal with cockerels, I would go for it! The more chickens the better, as I always say... actually, I'm hatching some chicks as well in the spring (yes, I have fallen victim to chicken math) so maybe I can join you!

You can totally join me! I actually have a silkie client who says she wants to have 200 silkies. So yeah, my incubators are taken until further notice. LOL

Imagine the BROODIES ...100 pullets turn into 100 broody mummas that sat on 8 eggs each.. ... Then more chicks! You dont need to start with many Silkies because they multiply! :lau
