One of the replacement eggs is doing SOMETHING, their is veining, but does not look like a day 9 egg. I suspect it will end up being a blood ring. Will hang onto it until it decides what it is going to do. All the others did not develop and have already been discarded.
Eko, my paint egg, just went into lockdown. So far, so good.
Good news is my white hen's eggs are fertile and I can already see development here on day 3. There is a 10 year old girl here in town and her mom patiently waiting for 2 silkies from me since late January, so hopefully they will continue to develop!
When do we get to see photos of your chicks?

Supposed to storm all day so I pulled out a puppy pen to give the chicks some room to spread out. Within 30 minutes.... Huge mess.

I will post pics soon, extra did a little 'photo-shoot' with extra lightsource because my camera is so bad and most of the normally taken pics were blurry

They are doing great and love being in their new coop. So much space. Every time I look in on them, they are play fighting with each other, rolling in the dirt, or doing their little jump-flap dance from one side of the coop to the other. I could sit and watch them for hours...ha ha. We need to get their covered porch and run done ASAP so they can start going outside.... That's the next project.

The sixth baby, I'm sure this one is a little male, first thing he tried to do when I brought him from the incubator to the brooder was jumping onto the brooder/heatplate He is the one with the most 'fur'/fluffy feathers, when my mother saw him the first time she shouted: he looks like a little teddy bear! So he has a name already: Teddy.
Teddy loves to eat. He is always the last one scratching and picking mash when the others already have finished.

Congratulations on the great hatch! The more photos the better! They are all so cute. Love Teddy's coloring!
