Integration is a process!
So, the day finally came where I felt little Himawari (6 and half weeks old) was big enough to try hanging with the "big kids", all ages from 9 and half weeks to 4 months of age, in the bantam coop. She and Hanabi have been staying out in the A-frame during the day for the past 3 weeks.
They had their first outing today, supervised for about an hour and a half.
The other chicks came to check them out, all were sweet to them, except 10 week old Eko had to give a little peck on the head to make sure they knew he was the boss. He apparently does not know that 4 month old Hikari is! 😊
Himawari ended up dust bathing with some of the big girls, so that was a good sign.

. little Easter is 3 months old, I have some comb pics, nothing else has changed since last pics I posted of him/her ..stance more like pullet but I do have cockerel/rooster in the mix and he/she is youngest I have. Crest seems quite round and puffy but so was my cockerels... probably a boy? 😬😞😩 Has to be a cute little partridge does it!

Easter is a tough one for sure! I still can't tell... The comb would scream boy if I didn't know your flock has some larger comb genetics. The crest does look more girly right now and overall stance also looks more feminine to me too. My little guys who are just a bit younger are just starting to get streamers and the little silver partridge who I am sure is male just started getting some red spots on his wings as well. If Easter is a boy I guess he is a bit slower to develop than mine. I'd give it some more time.....I'm still leaning towards boy due to the comb size and the bit of red you mentioned coming in but there is nothing that really confirms it yet and he/she does have pullet like traits as well.

Sorry I'm not much help....

Im still thinking girl... so what was accurate on mine that i had read in several spots, was the U shape, where the skin of the comb first connects to the beak.. I'm seeing that U Shape on Easter too... gosh and stance and crest just really look female to me.. ❤🥰🐥🦲

I take it back U is a male quality.... but.. hm.. theres a lot of comb there to see what i was talking about. Ill see if i can find one of mine when they were little, but again the comb is so different, im not sure you could compare.
