She seems to be doing OK! ❤️But going over to tube feeding after discussing it with her vet, as she hasn’t eaten much of anything or drank much of anything for the past 24 hours. She did pick a little bit at her food and drink a little bit of water about an hour ago, but not enough to sustain her for the next 16 hours in the dark.
Waiting for her owner to come and assist in the tube feeding process. It is close to 6 PM here.(1800)🙂
Have you tried syringe feeding? I have done that to a few chickens and went well with getting them eating mashy watery food with added vitamins to boost them enough to eat on their own, also tiny bit of Manuka honey water to boost healing and give more energy to eat.

Thanks, yes. 🥰Got a feeding tube from the vet that was a bit narrow but was able to get Nutradrench, Pedialyte and some very thin gruel down without too much trouble. Will give her some more in the morning and then see how she does. Even that little bit seemed to perk her up.😊
She is staying here with me at the “chicken rehab center” for now!🤣

Hi... Secret plan to steal 2 eggs from the shopping basket (I obviously pay for them) and incubate them!!! Getting bored so I thought waitimg a week to see if these eggs are fertile would be fun!
My supermarket has free ranged eggs (hens and roos together) so these eggs have a chance of fertility!
Probably nothing will happen but I'll see.
