Not sure! He doesn't seem interested in rooster-y things, like protecting, crowing, mating and standing tall. He is definitely male though! Look!

He's definitely a boy. Mine don't start showing typical male behavior until sometime beyond 30 weeks. Ive had roosters not crow until well over a year old.

Actually the two adult silkie roosters I currently have don't necessarily crow every day. Usually it's only in contest with the EE cockerels whom they want to beat up. They ignore each other, but will team up if one of the EEs sneak into their courtyard. Silkies have separate pens and hens and are happy enough to not fight. They don't fight with the head large fowl rooster either. I think they all just hate young jerks.

You really sure he's a rooster? He has no tail feathers. But it is true that he does have quite a big comb:hmm

One of the Duccle cockrells crowed this morning. He's like 10 weeks old. WHAT IS GOING ON IN HERE?!?!
