Chino has been an inconsistent broody
She's been on them for 2 nights but I just checked when she was off and they were all cold. She got back on but only covered half the 8 eggs so I shoved the rest under her.
Not sure what to do

I have four silkies they just started laying about a month ago and I think one of mine is already starting to turn broody. My Cochin went broody a month and a half after she started laying which was like two months ago and shes still not laying after I broke her.

It can take awhile for them to go back to laying, one of mine I broke and then she is molting so no eggs from her for many over a month so far
