I tried the state thread a few months ago. Got no responses...but there aren't many people from Arkansas on here to begin with. I tried NextDoor (similar to Facebook). I did get a response from a lady on there who wanted them both, but after talking to her a few times it became very obvious that she knew next to nothing about chickens and probably shouldn't own any. (She asked me if they laid eggs....). I could try Craigslist but yeah, they are very sketchy around here. I sold an old coop on there several years ago but in the past few years it seems to have downhill where people ask for your address and then ghost you.
Yeah it's probably a good thing you didn't give them to that lady. I mean "do they lay eggs"!

It would be a shame to have to cull these boys. I use Craigslist successfully. Really great photos, like the ones you just posted, are important. You can also keep renewing your posting every 2 days, to keep your ad at the top.
If someone sends me a response, I ask for a good contact number, and if they do not respond, then that is that for them. Sometimes people are fishing for your personal info, so if they respond to your ad with a vague "do you still have this/it available?" then I do not answer them. Once you find someone you think may be reliable/serious, then you meet at a neutral public location like a gas station parking lot. Do not give people your address. Also I do not recommend giving them away for free, even a nominal fee will weed out most of the crazies. Good luck, I hope they can find homes soon.🙂

Again my only cockerel is a few months old and is wobbly! The one hatched in April I had to put down because he was so bad with his head backwards and now Burtle I love can't walk properly! Can't stand. Lays around. I have started a thread with his problem but getting any advice I can if you guys have any please!?
Currently seperate with poultry vitamin water and chick starter feed.

So sorry to read this.:hugs
I really do not have any more good advice than what has already been posted. Keep him separate from the rest of the flock, vitamins and TLC and hopefully he will come around.
Maybe offer him some plain scrambled eggs, mine like this when they are not feeling well.

Still haven't found homes for these two fellas.... 😭

I can't put the white roo back in the coop since Bruiser (my black Silkie roo) beat him up pretty badly. Apparently you can't sell animals anymore on Facebook marketplace. Not sure where else to post him... But if I don't find them homes in the next 2 weeks, I will sadly have to cull them. Ugh... This sucks. 😭
Check facebook for FARM groups... those do allow animal sales!! Join a local chicken facebook group and they will usually tell you which group to join for sales. I just bought my tolbunts and paints that way.

I thought i might have a chance of females amongst these 3... but i am now thinking not. Clearly the red heat lamp concealed the little black polkie CLEARLY showing male signs.. and the two tolbunts just are so massive compared to Tolbunt girl from last night.

Polkie: (zero confusion 😭)

They could very well all be boys, but Polkie has a very feminine face, I know I see the little wattles coming in, though I am not convinced yet. A few more weeks are needed!😊
