Feel free to make gender guesses! I’ve got some suspicions, but totally clueless with silkies for the most part. 12ish weeks

Did they grow up together? Some of my hens refuse some roosters and other roosters I've had they accept. And one rooster I had lost his fertility but still mated 🤷 Yours would be the right age for mating so it is strange you don't have fertile eggs. Have you watched their behavior towards each other? Does your boys show the girls food?/treats to intice them?

my poor boys are nice but my big girls are mean to them. they are older than boys. pullets don't lay.

Maybe because the boys are younger and inexperienced the hens won't accept them. When the boys are over a year old that should change I would think as they will be more mature. It took many months for my older hens to accept my younger rooster. Pullets had no problem accepting the rooster when they were ready to lay.

Pullets are pullets until they are a year old. Mine are definitely goofy pullets and laying itty bitty eggs. My roo is still figuring things out at 5 months.. hes finally figuring out which end is which.. kind of. 🤣
