My pretty Barney has moved on to more spacious pastures, with acreage and 6 ladies all to himself. He can free range during the day and coop sleep at night. He's going with kids too, which he does well with, and what i was hoping for him.

The girls should be more relaxed now, and I'll be able to sleep in! Plus i don't have to close up the coop at night to keep out light anymore. Helpful w the summer heat.

Awe well atleast it worked out for you both. He sure is gorgeous!

So much rain here, 33mm we're up to and it's still raining heavy 😩 poor fluffies! They had a pool outside of their coop so I need to work on better drainage there. I moved another feeder inside the coop incase they want to stay inside.
Yesterday it was sunny and they had fun outside in the fallen leaves, I'm still seeing more girly looks about the 4 month olds but do want one orange boy amongst them. The 5 X 7 week olds will be more difficult to sex since they are not from my flock they'll develop differently - all but 1 looking boyish at this stage 😬
