I want to breed a Silkie with a Millie Fleur. Or a Silkie with a Cochin.
Well I had intended to do a porcelain Satin breeding project...but I don't have the mental ability to understand all the genetics!
So since I have thr 3 girlee d'uccles now I will be definitely breeding them with my Satin boy(s)...only positive if Bluey is a boy cuz her feathers are to die for!!!
at 2 weeks old she looked as if she had 2 sets of wings thats how many leg feathers that chick has! And she is blue mottled so with porcelain d'uccles I am eager to see what babies might look like!
My whole life has been trial and error...so I'm just gonna enjoy my babies and have fun! Forget the whole breeding for this cuz it ain't possible for me ...maybe God will have me this baby waiting up there some day!
(Obviously NOT my pic)

I hatched some Silkie eggs under a broody, they were free from my friends backyard mixed flock. Not sure if either are mixed, but they sure are pretty. The black one actually has a bit of brown on his head and lighter fluff on his belly.

I was never really interested in Silkies but these two make 6! Oldest are only 7 weeks so I’m still new. I love watching them run across the yard!
