We're in lockdown as of last night. Should be 20 chicks out of this. Egg 21 im not sure about. Egg 23 died day 14 or so by the looks of it.

This 4 month old is the most skittish I've ever had, absolutely bolts away like I'm about to murder her!... I caught her when I let them out this morning ... She is a girl isn't she? Sorry pics not very good, hard to take pic with one hand and hold chicken with other! Esp when they want to escape! ..a lot of my hatches this season have been clean faced/ non bearded

It's very possible from hatchery silkies

I have a few hatchery silkies and they pretty much don't have any feathers on their feet

Could it be a silkie mix? Or s silkied serama?

Not sure. I got her from tractor supply. Was just assorted bantam straight runs

Went down clam digging this morning. Home 8 hours later to the very slow cooker chirping at me. Hatch is 1/3 done.
