All the stuff is in the brooder, i haven’t laid the shavings or the paper towels yet, i might do that tonight! I have to set the light and bulb up. Other then that im ready to go! This is the best, This weekend chicks are coming in and next weekend my eggs are due to hatch!!!!

Good! I bet you're pretty excited. I have 65 chickens and got 28 of them today. Hope the eggs hatch and good luck with the new babies

Wow, sounds like an exciting time. Be sure to test the brooder temperature before the chicks arrive.

Now perhaps you'll answer a question that I have. Do you pronounce Celtic with a "s" sound at the beginning or with a "k" sound. I've heard it both ways and have always wondered which is correct.

Oh thank you, Celtic! It's interesting, the things I learn on this forum! I promise to say Celtic with a "K" sound, if you promise to never say "Frisco" for San Francisco!

Have fun with those little fluff balls!

I suggest you put the shavings an paper towels in the brooder right away and setup the light. Then plug it in and test it for a couple of hours to make sure the temperature is good. You don't want any unexected surprises when the chicks arrive.

Mine is all setuop and tested (last weekend). I have one more week to wait for my chicks..
