I have some beauties, too. I also have a white one with just a little black. She is a sexy girl. EE's are very colorful and so easy to individually identify. I have some RR,s and some Barred Rocks and they are great but much harder to tell one from the other and for the most part I cannot. The Rhode Island Reds are the ones that are the friendliest of the flock, then the Rocks. The EE's are not unfriendly but as they get older mine seem to want to be handled less.I like them both, but when my daughter & granddaughter asked for silkies I told them I didn't want a chicken who couldn't see. I figured with all the fluff around their faces it would be hard form them to see where they're going, etc. Plus, I love the colors. One of my EE is all white and another is beautiful like flames of fire (she's called Fireball).![]()
