Silkies Wanted

Hi

You need to have 20 posts in order to put up ads in the BST forum, (your count says 8 right now) any posts count so you can Welcome people on this forum etc to up your post count....

Thanks a lot for your reply. However I wanted to open a new thread and I don't need to put any ads, do you mean I need 20 posts before I can open a new thread?

Regards
Sal

Sal14, wish I could help you but we have never exported eggs outside of the US so I think we will just leave that level of complexity alone. You can just post a few more post and you should be able to post a wanted ad! Great luck!

Dear Bargain

Thank you so much for your kind reply, however I am only interested in buying live birds and not eggs because there are some restrictions on importing eggs and also I think it is a long procedure to import eggs and get them hatched and grown up.

Yes I am trying to get to the target of the 20 posts but when I first signed up I could straight away make a thread but I think that might be allowed for the first time thread only.

Thank you.

Best regards
Sal

you should be able to post a new thread anywhere BUT the buy, sell trade, forum which requires 20 posts. The quickest way to do that is to welcome new people on the new members thread like people are doing to you.

It may take a bit of time after the 20 th. post for the site to catch up to your count. But then you should have no problem. If you have that or other posting problems you can PM(private message) any of the moderators you find on this thread. I think we usually have Sumi and Judy. It will say
"Moderator." with their avatar.

Good luck to you. I always thought UK had silkies like ours (US) but, yours were large fowl and we have bantams.

Are any countries near you that don't have to do through all sorts of quarantine(I imagine) and red tape to send to you?

Dear Drumstick..

Thanks for your advice and suggestion.

However, I have been searching online to see whether I can find the silkie quality that I want in the neighboring countries to the UK but so far I have not had any lucks and as for the UK silkies they are slightly smaller and they don't come with all that fluffy feather both on their head and feet and I mean this generally otherwise their might be some very good quality silkies here in the UK but I have not come across anyone who has the ones that you people have at your end because I have checked almost all the videos and pictures of the silkies in the UK and I can't see that someone has sikies similar to your ones.

Anyway, I would appreciate that if someone on this forum can help me get quality silkies in closer countries to the UK.

Thanks.
