Silkies!

The chicks came into co-op. I got four. So far all of the silkies I have had were black. I don't know what the colors are for silkies are but I got two dark grey and two light colored ones. Because they are silkies, I don't know if they are hens or roosters, but I know the won't fly over my fences.
Cream one. Really like a lemon drop.

One of grays. Smoke

The other gray. Well, I think it is the other gray.

And the last cream one. A little piece of butterscotch.

Or it could be a silkie without pigments. Cochins aren't known for flying

Lady at co-op looked at "her" skin and said "silkie". Of course, I have chosen "she and her." If the pronouns are wrong, we can live with that.

I hoped they would be lighter. I guess if they are black, they will look like everyone else. Smoky would be cool.
