OK...AIRHEART....thank you for sharing those pictures. 3 of my blue silkies look so big. I did not know if it was going to be because they were all Roo's .......or because the solid blue was a runt and it made the others look big. So the first pic is a group photo to see the posture/feathering and the rest are a face shot of each of th 4. I took them today and they turned 14 weeks old monday that just passed. It sure does make it seem like all girls when i look at yours, but i am afraid to get my hopes up and the tails sure do look rooish on 2 of them.

Lurky, Your silkies are so pretty! You know, i have a couple of silkies that fooled me for a bit. One buff and one white have always been a bit larger and taller. They hold themselves more erect than my little dark greys. i thought they were going to be boys, but luckily not (or not so far, knock on wood).

Back to the original intent of the post, chickenshow, if no one on this board has silkie eggs, you may want to try ebay. i hatched 14 chicks out this summer from eggs purchased on ebay.
